So in the spirit of the upcoming holidays, as well as holistic health, here are a few things that I've been very grateful for lately...
I am SO grateful for the YMCA facilities, the instructors, the great weight rooms and the fact that they watch my kids for FREE!

I am grateful for gloves that keep my hands from turning into raw, calloused disasters.

I am grateful for an awesome workout buddy who constantly motivates me, pushes me to work harder, and offers such awesome advice. Couldn't do it without you Aubrey!
I'm grateful for a husband who has put aside his overwhelming love for sweets to do this program with me. I'm also grateful for his example of willpower as he's resisted the junk food we both wish we could have.
I'm grateful for tea! Sounds crazy, but you have no idea how much a nice cup of tea has curbed those strong cravings.

I'm grateful for my sweet kids, who have adapted well to dinners of chicken and brown rice. They've been champs about it, and have been happy to learn a bit about nutrition themselves.

I'm grateful for my Fitbook. It's become my bible for recording my workouts and progress. I'd be quite lost in the weight room without it.
I'm grateful for Supreme protein bars. We're not supposed to eat them that often, but man, they really come in handy in a pinch.
I'm grateful for fitness inspirations like Jamie Eason. It's so nice to have these women to not only act as examples of fitness and clean eating, but to give us the tools to achieve the same goals.
And lastly, I'm grateful for my body. I've put it through a LOT lately, and it's managed to survive all of it so far. Some days have been better then others, but I have definitely noticed improvements, of which I am VERY grateful for. We're gearing up for Phase III now, and I can't wait to see what else my body is capable of.
